Nominations invited for Institute’s 2010 medals and prizes

The Institute’s 2010 medals and prizes are accepting nominations until 18 December. The awards cover personal achievement and published work.

There are awards for work in minerals and mining, different materials, including metals, composites, polymers and ceramics, as well as for services to education and the Institute. Several of the awards are not restricted to a particular material or technology.

Except where specified, nominees do not have to be members of the Institute and can be nationals of any country. In most cases, self-nomination is not accepted.
