New website for IOM3
The Institute is pleased to welcome you to its new look website. As well as updating the design of the site, we have incorporated more opportunities for interaction and networking – such as the ability to post comments on items, and discussion forums.
'This is the culmination of a two-year project which has involved a huge input from representatives of all the Institute’s areas of activity,' says Nuna Staniaszek, Head of Communications at IOM3. 'It is a major step in enabling the Institute to deliver enhanced member services and ensure a platform for growth.'
Navigation round different parts of the site has been simplified, with the main sections available from a drop down menu near the top of each page, rather than on the left hand side. Different interest groups within the Institute, such as the technical divisions, and other sections including our member magazines, have been integrated more closely with the main site, offering easier access and seamless movement around the website.
If you have a special interest which is catered for by one of our technical communities (divisions, societies or associations) you will find all the content relevant to that community on the divisional microsite. The home page of the microsite gives direct access to any related news, features and events from throughout the main site. Visit the Technical Communities page (link top right) to find a community appropriate to your interests.
If you are a member of the Institute, remember to log in (top right link, above the main navigation bar) in order to access all the member-only content, which now includes past and current features from our three magazines, and conference proceedings, as well as the usual online access to the Institute's journals and your membership and CPD information. You will no longer be directed to an auxiliary website for members.
We’ve been working hard to ensure a smooth transition from our previous website, but if you experience any difficulties, please use our online enquiry form to contact us.
