Media fellowships for budding journalists

If you would like to turn the latest science into news, then why not apply for a British Science Association Media Fellowship? The scheme allows scientists to spend 3-8 weeks on a summer placement with a national journalist, to learn how to produce accurate, well-informed pieces about developments in science, and return to work more confident working with the media.

Successful applicants will develop their writing skills and learn how to produce funding applications and journal articles that are more concise and completed quicker. Hosts include The Guardian, BBC, Nature and the Times. The application deadline is 1 March 2011.
