Materials-themed treasure hunt

The second Great Materials Challenge will take place on 9 May around central London. This fun-filled treasure hunt will feature some of London's most spectacular sites. Teams of up to five people will be given a clue to solve which will give them the location of the next pointer. The group (or individual) that completes the challenge in the fastest time wins.

First prize is a year's free membership of IOM3 for all team members, worth up to £146 each, to include a subscription to Materials World, Packaging Professional or Clay Technology, access to online journals and IMMAGE, and more! Runner-up prizes include Amazon vouchers, USB memory sticks, and Rolls-Royce gear including pedometers, bags, mugs, key rings and beanies.

The event is organised by the Younger Members' Committee, is free and open to all.

Starting at the Science Museum between 12.00 and 13.00, the clues will guide you around London attractions accessible on foot and by public transport within zones 1 and 2. There will be an opportunity to network at the end and enjoy a bite to eat.

First clue revealed please visit the website!
