Materials Literature Review Prize open for entries

The Institute’s Materials Literature Review Prize is accepting entries for the 2009 competition until 15 October.

The competition carries a £350 prize for the winner, and the opportunity for their paper to be published, following peer review, in an Institute journal. Commended entries that are put forward for publication will receive £100.

The Review Prize is administered by the editorial board of Materials Science and Technology to encourage postgraduate students to write critical reviews of literature. The competition is open to those studying for materials or engineering qualifications at a UK institution.
