MADE design magazine launched

MADE magazine

A new magazine for those involved in either the UK’s design or materials community has been published for the first time this month. The new title, MADE, is a product of the Materials and Design Exchange which seeks to bring together product designers and materials developers to improve innovation and competitiveness for UK businesses.

The Exchange was officially launched in July 2006 and has already established a broad programme of meetings and activities within the Materials Knowledge Transfer Network, an over-arching network of networks in materials, funded by the DTI.

The magazine is one further element to aid knowledge awareness and will be published three times a year by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, one of the five core partners of the Exchange.

To receive a copy of MADE, contact Sumeet Bellara, tel: 020 7451 7315. For future features and content, contact Katherine Williams, Editor, tel: 020 7451 7314.
