IOM3 at Japanese automotive congress

For the third year running, the Institute exhibited at The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan’s Annual Congress, held in Yokohama, Japan, from 21-23 May.

The IOM3 stand was themed ‘safety and end-of-life for vehicles’, and included exhibits such as pressure sensing materials to adjust car seat height to ensure airbags deploy correctly, and solar powered cats eyes to help reduce the number of road accidents.

A pdf of the IOM3 booklet is available for download (pdf 848KB).
