Invitation to participate in Engineering Council research

While there is a growing appreciation of the value of IEng status within the engineering profession, research has shown that a large number of practising engineers eligible for professional registration at IEng level may be unaware of this. As a result, they and their employer could be missing out on the benefits of holding a professional qualification that recognises their competence, and standing in, the engineering profession.

If your company employs engineers, the Engineering Council would appreciate your participation in a short survey regarding the awareness and perception of professional engineering qualifications. All responses are anonymous. Those taking part can enter a draw to win £100 of Amazon vouchers and may request a copy of the research findings, which will help you to:

  • Keep up to speed with awareness and attitudes towards professional qualifications across the profession.
  • Find out how other organisation view the role of engineering qualifications, in particular IEng.
  • Compare your own professional perspective on IEng to the findings of the survey.
