Institute Fellow becomes CEO of TWI

Christoph Wiesner FIMMM has become Chief Executive of TWI, Abingdon. He was formerly the company's Research & Technology Director.

Christoph has worked for TWI since 1991, having gained a materials engineering degree in Germany and a doctorate at the Swiss Institute of Technology. Before becoming Research & Technology Director seven years ago, he was employed in TWI's Structural Integrity Group as Senior Project Leader and then in Section and Group management roles.

Speaking about the promotion, Christoph said, 'I feel honoured to have been selected and will do my utmost to lead TWI into a promising future in order to serve the members, customers and staff of this great organisation.'
