Industrial secondments

A number of industrial secondments, organised by The Royal Academy of Engineering, are available for university teaching staff. The  deadline for applications is 30 September 2010.

The Industrial Secondment Scheme offers UK universities financial support so that engineering teaching staff can spend 3-6 months (or longer on a part-time basis) in a UK-based company. The scheme promotes knowledge transfer between academia and industry, and aims to improve the quality and industrial relevance of engineering education.
