Improving waste strategies

A scheme to help companies save money by changing how they deal with waste is on offer from sustainability company, Envirowise. Manufacturers have until 31 December to sign up for the free initiative, Rethink Waste.

Online modules will take businesses through the key steps of collecting benchmarking data, and developing and implementing a waste saving strategy. A virtual factory tour, audiocasts and a web conference are also available.

Envirowise Production Specialist Michael Savage said, 'Rethink Waste provides an excellent opportunity for manufacturers to improve their resource efficiency, and make cost savings, in a planned and measurable way'.
