Junior Euromat 2008

Junior Euromat 2008, a four-day informal poster conference, will be held at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, from 14-18 July. Though aimed at Master’s and PhD students, interested parties of any age will be welcome, whether from industry or academia. The Federation of European Materials Societies, of which IOM3 is a part, and the European Materials Research Society are sponsors of the event.

Posters will be accompanied by a short oral presentation by each author, all of whom will be available for comment throughout the conference. Keynote speakers will open the sessions. Papers are divided into topics, including, but not limited to, mechanical properties, metals, ceramics, polymers, processing, surface engineering, simulation methods, materials characterisation, and nanomaterials.
