Beilby Medal and Prize seeking applicants

The annual Beilby Medal and Prize is seeking nominations for the 2010 award.

The award recognises a significant contribution to chemical engineering, applied materials science or energy efficiency, with preference given to candidates under 40 years of age. The closing date for the 2010 award is 31 December 2009.

A nomination form must be accompanied by letters of recommendation from two references and a list of the candidate's scientific and technical publications and patents. The prize is administered in rotation by IOM3, the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Society for Chemical Industry. The 2010 award is being organised by IOM3.
