The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is inviting papers at its inaugural EUROTEC technical conference in Barcelona, 14-15 November 2011. This 2-day event is designed to attract several hundred industry professionals who are interested in learning about the latest global developments.

SPE is inviting speakers to present papers at this first-ever conference in the following areas:

• Failure Analysis & Prevention
• Bioplastics 
• Medical Plastics
• Automotive Extrusion/Flexible and Rigid Packaging
• Mould Design and Rapid Tooling 
• Product and Engineering Design
• Color and Additives 
• General Business
• Engineering Properties & Structure 

A 100-word abstract outlining the topic of your paper is requested for submission by 1 March 2011, followed by a 5-6 page technical paper for submission by 1 June 2011. Technical papers will be published in the conference proceedings and in the Society’s online technical library. Presentation time will be 30 minutes.
