The Society for the Environment have launched a report at the House of Commons.
The report, launched in early March 2015, sets out ideas to protect our health, wealth and security through the more rational and sustainable management of the natural systems upon which we all depend.
“The report confirms once more that achieving a healthy environment is far from marginal to Britain's interests. Looking after where we live, both globally and locally, is vital for our long-term health, wealth and security and must be a far more prominent agenda as we approach the election” - Tony Juniper, President of the Society for the Environment
The report is set out in four sections:
- Climate change and sustainability skills
- Protecting the UKs natural capital
- The energy challenge
- Building a resilient UK
