Beilby Medal and Prize seeking applicants

The annual Beilby Medal and Prize is seeking nominations for the 2010 award.

The award recognises a significant
contribution to chemical engineering, applied materials science or
energy efficiency, with preference given to candidates under 40 years
of age. The closing date for the 2010 award is 31
December 2009.

A nomination form
must be accompanied by letters of recommendation from two
references and a list of the candidate's scientific and technical
publications and patents. The prize
is administered in rotation by IOM3, the Royal Society of
Chemistry and the Society for Chemical Industry. The 2010 award is being organised by IOM3.
