Ryan Marks wins a close-fought N&DMS heat of the Young Persons'Lecture Competition
The N&DMS heat was contested by no fewer than seven young lecturers. The standard was extremely high and the lectures covered a wide range of interesting topics. The winner by the narrowest of margins was Ryan Marks for his talk about the use of virtual techniques to locate defects in aircraft structures. Congratulations to all the contestants who provided a stimulating and enjoyable evening and good luck to Ryan in the next round.
