Following the successful Natural Materials Association (NMA) launch event in November, the NMA has just launched its new microsite on the IOM3 website. Take a look to keep up to date with all the latest news, features and upcoming events.

The Natural Materials Association is a specialist community within IOM3 and provides links to a diverse range of natural materials. These include wood, stone, clay, natural rubber, wool, leather, hemp and shell, as well as enabling an understanding of biomimicry to learn from nature.

The NMA is the first UK body to represent the breadth of natural
materials and its primary objective is to develop a focus for knowledge
exchange between materials scientists, product designers and those in
education. It will also enable greater interaction and networking
between individual natural materials communities, and will support the
growth of these links across the global membership of IOM3.

As part of its launch, the NMA are running an exclusive membership offer
of £35 for new Affiliate IOM3 members valid until 31 December 2013.
This will give members a 50% reduction on delegate fees to all Natural
Materials Association networking events for the next year as well as
one annual print subscription to MaDE magazine. For more information
please download the launch membership offer flyer below.
