Unfortunately, due to competing events with very similar themes locally we have decided to cancel Materials Congress for 2010.   However, please note that the Final of the World Lecture Competition will still take place on 20 September as originally planned.

The first Materials Congress to be organised outside of the UK will be hosted in Kuala Lumpur in September 2010, to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the IOM3 Malaysian Branch.  

Programme
Addressing the issues of Materials for Extreme Environments and Times, the two-day technical programme will identify materials and processes to meet both industry and society demand, and will provide a unique review of new materials R&D and product innovation.  Themes covered will be:
