Study Corporate Social Responsibility with Sheffield Hallam University

Corporate social responsibility is a field of growing importance in all sectors of business, particularly in larger organisations. In the twenty first century, organisations must consider the impact they are having on the natural and human environment. Consumers demand accountability, asking about every aspect of an operation.

This MSc course focuses on corporate social responsibility in the context of globalisation. You develop strategies to address concerns about the impacts of business on the environment and international communities. You explore the sometimes conflicting needs of different stakeholders, for example, resolving tensions between shareholders in the UK and suppliers in developing countries.

The course is suitable if you have a professional background in business and you wish to move into the corporate social responsibility field in your own organisation. Or you may be a student progressing from undergraduate level in one of many disciplines. You can study the course full-time over one year or part-time over two years, plus dissertation.
