Typical projects undertaken: Vitrification of industrial wastes into new materials and useful products; R&D for abrasion and corrosion resistant materials/products from pulverised fuel ash (PFA); vitrification of flue dusts into non-toxic glass/products; design, construct and operate glass ceramic production plant from basalt rock (12 tons/day of products); developed method and process for utilisation of blast furnace slag; act as trouble shooter for the glass and ceramic industry; set up testing procedures and feasibility activities for the evaluation of projects.
