Sales Manager - Sandvik Osprey, South Wales
Your primary focus as the Sales Manager will be to drive sales growth in the EMEA territory. You will have a strategic focus on shaping the future growth of the business via sales, product development and the discovery of new product applications. You will prepare budgets for activities including customer visits, key account management, winning new business, conferences and exhibitions.
Detailed responsibilities will include:
Exceeding sales, margin and return on capital targets.
Managing and continually improving the customer experience.
Managing the performance of an internal sales team.
Ownership of sales forecasts for the European, Middle Eastern and African regions.
Coordinating customer visits and producing detailed visit reports.
Developing market share, competitor activity and market intelligence reports for key product/application sectors.
Representing the company at regional and global conferences.
Reporting of sales figures, margin analysis, forecasts and planned sales activities.
Managing projects focusing on product and or market development
What you will need to be a successful Sales Manager:
Should be educated to degree level within an engineering or scientific discipline.
Must have a proven track record within a technical sales management role.
The experience of managing an internal sales team is essential.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Must be willing to travel on a regular basis, around 30% of the time.
Ideally have experience within the metals, additive manufacturing, medical and/or aerospace sectors, with French or German language skills.
£47,500 – £55,000 dependent on experience
