Adding Value Through Innovation - Bretby 2011

23rd Nov 2011

The Ceramics Society and the International Clay Technology Association (ICTa) are pleased to announce details of the 10th Annual "Bretby" Conference for the heavy clays and ceramics industries. However, "Bretby" has a new home as our usual venue at the Bretby Conference Centre sadly shut its doors at the beginning of this year. The 2011 event will be held at the Stafford County Showground in Stafford.

A wise man once said "Necessity is the Mother of Invention". For this year we have changed this to "Necessity is the Mother of Innovation" and our conference will focus on "Adding Value through Innovation".

The industry faces many challenges of energy efficiency, sustainability, optimised productivity, effective use of raw materials and minimisation of waste, as well as the challenge of maintaining a skilled and competent workforce. This year's technical programme will address some of these issues.

As well as the day's technical programme, there will again be a practical workshop session facilitated by CIF which will enable delegates to hone their continuous improvement and problem solving skills.

The highly successful exhibition of supply chain companies will again take place alongside the conference.

Exhibition and sponsorship packages are available. Download a brochure below.
