IMMAGE: The reference database for the international minerals industry
IMMAGE is the world's foremost reference database of abstracts and citations of scientific and engineering literature for the international minerals industry.
Covering material published from 1979 to the present, IMMAGE now contains over 100,000 records, with two to three thousand references being added each year.
To produce this high-quality, internationally recognised and reputable database, selection, abstracting and indexing are carried out by experienced and technically qualified staff and the content is indexed with controlled vocabulary and thesaurus terms.

Using a powerful search engine provides an easy way to find relevant information fast. Updated frequently, IMMAGE online is an excellent way of keeping abreast with developments. It includes an Alerting Service which will inform you when new items are added in areas of interest to you.

IMMAGE on CD has a Windows-based search engine which gives the user various search options from single-word, free text searching to sophisticated, field-specific combinations of words and phrases. Search results can be printed or saved to a file. Published quarterly (4 discs per year).

IMM Abstracts

This is the current awareness bulletin for technical literature in the mineral industry. Published quarterly, IMM Abstracts is the hard-copy version of the IMMAGE database. It provides a useful alternative for those who like to keep up to date with the technical literature in their field by browsing through a printed journal organised by broad subject areas, rather than by searching electronically for specific topics.
* Prices inclusive of p&p to UK and Europe; subscribers outside Europe who wish to receive their copies of IMM Abstracts by air mail should add a surcharge of £15 (£20 for Australasia, the Far East and the Pacific).
IMMAGE Pay as you use
The IMMAGE Database is also available as an online, pay-as-you-use service. The service provider is European Information Network Services (EINS). Please see the EINS web site www.eins.org for passwords, cost and technical support, usually provided from regional EINS Help Desks.
