Wall Colmonoy has been manufacturing high performance alloys at its site in Pontardawe since 1969.  As part of a large American parent organization formed in 1938, Wall Colmonoy Ltd are experts in the powder atomization and precision casting of nickel and cobalt-based alloys.  These alloys are primarily used to make or coat components for applications where corrosion and wear resistance are vital. 

 

Typical markets include oil and gas exploration, food and drink manufacturing equipment, steel making, automotive and defense.  In addition, Wall Colmonoy were the original inventors of Nickel-based brazing filler metals alloys.  These alloys are manufactured in Pontardawe by high energy atomization and are sold to the suppliers of every major European car manufacturer.  Indeed more than 80% of Wall Colmonoy Ltd's annual production is exported to the E.U. and beyond.
