Polymers for Life

26 Nov 2009, Liberty Stadium, Swansea, UK
Polymeric materials are definitely not the new metals, but in the first instance there are many superficial similarities that could certainly lead a designer astray.  If you want to learn more, in a not too technical manner, about the mechanical properties of polymers as well as their variations in toughness with temperature and the differences between the main polymer types then make sure you register for this event by logging on to www.mnw.org.uk and selecting the Diary of Events.  You'll also have the opportunity to hear about some novel applications of polymers in the marketplace.
