Pack to the Future 2 – a big event in a ‘nano’ world

22 Feb 2012, Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, UK

Following on from the recently successful Pack to the Future, The East Midlands Packaging Society are proud to announce Pack To The Future 2 (#PTTF2), due to take place on Wednesday 22 February 2012.

The original event was a ground-breaking one that brought together business and academia in an interactive and learning environment. In an effort to attract young blood into the industry (and the Packaging Society), it also proved an effective platform for students to find out more about the role of packaging and the fantastic career opportunities that are available. The event was oversubscribed with a fantastic turnout of 115 attendees.

The great news is that PTTF2 will be even better. We’ve taken on-board your comments and revamped the event to provide more networking and more interaction, with a question and answer ‘Leopard’s Lair’ debate and more focused content with the theme of ‘nanotechnology’.

As previously there will be opportunities for suppliers to ‘sponsor’ the event and exhibit their ‘wares’ in an annexe area, providing a great chance to network and chat over a splendid buffet meal & refreshments.

Many universities will also be present with their fascinating project ideas to discuss with you the possibilities of matching consumer needs to their technology solutions.

Exact speaker topics are still being finalised but are sure to inspire some lively debate and insightful questions from an attentive and diverse audience.

You can find out more about this event as things get finalised and view some great photos and video interviews taken at the last one, together with information on other East Midlands events here:

www.thepackagingsociety.com

Places will be strictly limited this time, with pre-booking essential in what is expected to be a sell-out event. So if you want to stay ahead of the game and work with some of the leading experts in the industry and academia, book your places now to avoid disappointment.
