OPTIMoM: Optimising Performance Through Integrated Modelling of Microstructure

26 Sep 2010 - 28 Sep 2010, Queens College, Cambridge, UK

Organised by IOM Communications on behalf of the Structure and Properties of Materials and High Temperature Materials Committees of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining

This conference will promote the physical/fundamental models and methods to predict microstructures of structural metallic materials, and consequently mechanical properties, as a result of simulating microstructure.

The meeting will attempt to cover many industries and sectors, and many metallic systems (e.g. lightweight non-ferrous such as Al, Ti, Mg, superalloys of Fe, Ni and Co and others such as Zr alloys).
