Nano4Sport: Introducing Designers to Micro and Nano Technologies

Exploitation of the commercial benefits of the diverse set of effects offered by nanotechnology requires communication between the scientific and design communities. This event aims to:

  • Inform
  • Raise awareness
  • Generate ideas
  • Develop links for future collaborations.


Nano4Sport will launch the Nano4Design focus group and is aimed at:

  • Product and garment designers in all sectors – although sport is the focus
  • Nanotechnology developers
  • Technology integrators
  • Materials supply chain.

Technologists and designers are invited to apply for a 5 minute pitch outlining an offering or need. Send 200 word description to Natasha.taylor@nanoktn.com along with your registration form.

Posters
There will be a poster session throughout the day. If you would like to promote your technology, design or research, an abstract should be sent to Natasha.taylor@nanoktn.com. Places are limited and abstracts will be reviewed on a first come first served basis.
