Materials for a Safer World - Materials KTN Annual Meeting 2009

The Materials KTN would like to invite you to its 2009 Annual Meeting which will be held on Thursday 23rd April at Church House Conference Centre, London. This year's event is entitled "Materials for a Safer World" and will include presentations on all aspects of materials and technologies that can be used to enhance safety including defence, security and healthcare applications. Keynote speakers already confirmed are Dr Chris Mace, Director General, Science and Technology Operations, MoD and Barry Webb, Head, Design Against Crime Team, Home Office.

The morning will feature two parallel sessions: Materials Challenges for Defence Applications, organised by Team MAST and a Materials for a Safer World Expo in which member companies will be able to bring a small exhibition display and have a short presentation to showcase their research and products.

There will also be an exhibition in the main assembly hall throughout the day and ample time for networking.
