Lean, Mean + Green: the World's First Environmentally Friendly Racing Car

25 Mar 2010, London, UK

Public Lecture by Dr Kerry Kirwan.

6:15pm 25 March at IOM3, 1 Carlton House Terrace London SW1Y 5DB

The new WorldFirst racecar is the first Formula 3 racing car designed and made from sustainable materials.  In this free public lecture Dr Kerry Kirwan will demonstrate how the joined up approach of disparate arts, sciences and engineering can result in something ground breaking like the WorldFirst F3 racing car - a much more environmentally friendly vehicle than most road cars.

This event is organised by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, the Institution of Engineering Designers and the Chartered Society of Designers.
