Fundamentals of body armour technology course

The course will provide an introduction to the technology and application of body armour in police, security forces and military environments. The course is aimed at expert users, technologists and engineers who require an understanding of the current and future solutions for protecting personnel from a variety of threats. It will also be of use to procurement and purchasing managers who require a sound understanding of the requirements, capabilities, and specifications of modern personnel protection systems.

Lecturers will consist of academic and military members of staff from Cranfield University and the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom. Invited lecturers are from MOD, dstl, Metropolitan Police and the Home Office.
