Costs
The
costs for attending this two day event, including daytime refreshments
and conference dinner on 14th December, are as follows:
Full Cost: £450.00 + VAT
Student cost: £140.00 + VAT
Conference Speakers: £180.00 + VAT
Professional Members of IOM3: £320.00 + VAT
Affiliate Members of IOM3 or co-sponsoring organisation: £390.00 + VAT
Student member: £100.00 + VAT
Delegates wishing to attend just one day of the conference can register at a 25% reduction of these costs.

Call for Papers Deadline - 30 June 2009
Many thanks to all who have submitted abstracts for oral presentations at this conference.
If your abstract has been received, you will have been sent a confirmation. If you have not received a confirmation of receipt, please get in contact as soon as possible.
If you have not submitted an abstract, but still wish to do so, you have been given a final extension to the deadline of Sunday 5th July to email your one page abstract, according to the guidelines below.
Authors of papers and posters presented at the conference will receive a discounted delegate rate.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
The following Guidelines have been prepared to assist you in the preparation and presentation of your abstract.
The length of the submission should be no more than 1 x A4 page (21 x 29.5cm). It can include pictures and diagrams, which may be produced in colour, but should also reproduce clearly in black and white. The font size of the main text should be 12 pt, arial. Please send a word document, and not a pdf.
Please include a paper title, below which you should include the author’s name: initials followed by surname (e.g. AJ Smith).
Beneath the Author’s name there should be Author’s affiliation (company name), followed by postal address, contact email and telephone number.
The submission should start with a 50 word summary, which should be titled SUMMARY. This summary should not exceed 350 characters (including spaces), and the same 50 word (350 character) text will be printed as part of the conference programme.
Following the short summary should be the abstract. An example of an abstract submission can be downloaded from the link at the bottom of this page.
The summary will appear on the website, and the abstract in the conference programme.
Please give the file a name that includes your own name, for ease of identification.
Please do not include any logos, headers and footers on your paper.
The final deadline date for the submission of the abstract is 30 June 2009. Please send abstracts to dawn.bonfield@iom3.org.
Conference proceedings will not be published, but the papers will beinvited for publication in a special edition of the peer reviewed Journal of Biobased Materials and Bioenergy. Authors wishing to publish in this journal will be asked to supply full papers, according to the instructions on the journal's website by Friday 16 October 2009.
