Diploma in Packaging Technology Intensive Course 3 x 5 days

An intensive 15-day course split into three blocks of 5 days each, plus essential self directed study in your own time.

This popular residential course is held at The Boilerhouse, Grantham. The course combines classroom activity and self-directed study, offering students the opportunity to cover the Diploma syllabus in a relatively short time. In addition many students benefit and learn from the interaction with those from other parts of the industry.

Each topic is taught via a series of lectures, practical and workshop sessions. Evening study is essential during the three blocks of 5 days. Delegates will also be required to conduct their own studies in the intervening period between the taught sessions and in the period leading up to the examinations.

 

This fee includes:

  • Course materials, plus:
  • The Fundamentals of Packaging Technology textbook
  • A folder with extensive supplementary notes and presentation materials
  • Magnifying glass
  • Associated administration documents
  • Lectures as per the course programme
  • PIABC Examination fees
  • Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining Affiliate Membership for two years from the date of registration

 

Not included:

  • Travel, accommodation and subsistence costs associated with the course lectures
  • Any postage and communication costs incurred
  • Examination resit fees
