The Royal Institution of Great Britain: International Conference on Repair, Regeneration & Reconstruction

25 Sep 2014 - 27 Sep 2014

This landmark conference is a high-profile forum, presenting breakthrough developments in tissue engineering, stem cell research, biomaterials and reconstruction. The conference faculty will feature leading figures in these fields from around the world, including University Professors from Harvard, MD Anderson, New York, Southern Illinois, Johns Hopkins, Ann Arbor, Tokyo, Taipei, Leuven and Oldenburg and the President of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons.  The conference’s theme is integration of science with medicine and surgery, aiding translation into real treatments for the most challenging problems facing clinicians in the world today.  This meeting will provide an opportunity for groups from around the world to present research and innovation in key fields of reconstructive and regenerative science and medicine. A core aim of the conference is to stimulate cross-fertilisation of ideas and processes that may further our understanding and provide realistic translation into treatments and reconstructive techniques.

Our Mission

To facilitate communication of new ideas and processes in tissue and wound repair, regeneration and reconstruction.

To offer an exciting opportunity for scientists and physicians and nurses to discuss their latest work and future challenges in a uniquely interactive, stimulating and lively format.

To foster support for commercialisation of reconstructive and regenerative technologies.
