Classifying ores and concentrates

A shared strategy for classifying ores and concentrates will be released later this year to help the European mining and minerals industry meet its obligations under the United Nations’ Globally Harmonised System (GHS) of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals.

CRIRSCO and Reporting Code

CRIRSCO - the Combined Reserves International Reporting Standards Committee - is the international committee which coordinates the activities of the national reporting committees including PERC, JORC (Australasia), SAMREC (S.Africa), CIM (Canada), IMEC (Chile), and SME (USA).

PERC: the Pan-European reserves & Resources Reporting Committee, co-sponsored by IOM3/IMMa together with the Geological Society, the European Federation of Geologists, and the Institute of Geologists of Ireland, has launched the consultation draft of its new minerals reporting code.
