Technician members

The Technology Application Forum is designed to meet the needs of Associate and Technician Members of the Institute and those who aspire to become Associate or Technician Members.

Associate and Technician Members of the Institute play an important role in helping to develop new technology and in ensuring the smooth running of current technology.

 

In this section you will find information about:

 

  • how to become a Technician Member or an Associate Member of the Institute
  • education and training opportunities for those interested or involved in the practical application of materials, minerals and mining technologies
  • professional development activities organised by the Institute for those involved in the application of existing technology
  • prizes awarded by the Institute to students training to be Technician or Associate Members of the Institute.

 

The Technology Application Forum has been established by and is managed by the Incorporated Engineers and Technicians Committee of the Institute.
