Materials, minerals and mining engineering information for teachers, parents and governors
The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining aims to support those studying and working in our fields of interest at all levels from secondary school upwards.
For over ten years we have been developing resources and offering support to secondary schools, sixth form colleges and FE colleges through our Schools Affiliate Scheme, but we also offer careers information to school and college pupils and are involved in a number of initiatives to improve the materials, minerals and mining knowledge of teachers in order to give them more confidence in teaching these areas of the curriculum.
On these pages you can find out more about how the Institute can help to support you as a teacher, or how as a parent or governor, you can support your school by enlisting our services.
