supplier of out of the ordinary glass bottles

14 Oct 2008, 17:52HUGHES

...looking for a glass bottles supplier who has more out of the ordinary bottle forms/shapes. The company I am working with bottles both a still and sparkling water - the sizes of bottles are 750ml and 500ml.  Closure currently is a standard plastic screw top.  However they are interested in looking at other closures, metal screw tops, Crown caps, stoppers, etc. so wouldn't dismiss a bottle if it couldn't take screw top.

The anticipated order volume of bottles per annum is small, in the region of 100,000 - 200,000. They're particularly interested in looking perhaps at Italian glass or bottle forms that are not normally used for beverages, so breaking the category rules.  Please could any member suggest such a supplier?

Thank you, Kathryn Hughes
