In the events team we are keen to produce events that are relevant and of interest to members of IOM3 and the wider materials, minerals, mining and packaging communities. If you have a specific event or conference theme in mind, then please get in touch with us, sending a brief outline of the topic. If you are also willing to be involved in shaping the event, then even better.

Conference Poll 2009
Thanks to all of you who took part in the conference poll for 2009, and to those of you who provided comments and alternative suggestions, many of which have given me food for thought for future events. The chosen conference was 'Materials for the Developing World', which will take place later this year. This was closely followed by 'Materials Without Oil', which may also feature in the forthcoming conference programme. If you would like to provide any input to either of these events then please contact me at dawn.bonfield@iom3.org.
