Stuart PatrickStuart Patrick has been actively involved with the IOM3 for many years after coming in via the Plastics and Rubber Institute.

He is also Chair of the PVC Committee which is a technical committee within the Polymer Society.

Also participating at local level, he is past Chair of the Manchester Polymer Group and currently is a Committee Member championing educational issues in the polymer area in the North West of England.

Now semi-retired he has previously held various senior technical and business positions in the Speciality Chemicals PVC Additives business of Akzo Nobel / Akcros Chemicals based in the Manchester UK area.

In addition to his voluntary activities within IOM3 he is also involved on a part time basis with the Department of Materials at Loughborough University lecturing at Materials for Industry short courses and coordinating a Research Network aiming to improve the sustainable use of PVC.
