The Defence, Safety and Security Committee will focus on all technical, educational and professional issues relating to Defence, Safety and Security Materials. These issues are relevant to Institute members linked in to many of the disciplines currently contained within the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, and will cover all aspects relating to production, design, fitness-for-purpose, applications, cost, and sensitivity in respect of national/personal security and safety.
