The function of the Rolling Committee is to promote the science, technology and practice of metal rolling, both ferrous and non ferrous and for both flat and long products.

The Committee consists of rolling practitioners, plant manufacturers and academics engaged in research in the field. Most members work in the UK but several European metals industries are also represented.

The Committee organises an active programme of events throughout the year, ranging from focussed one day seminars to major international conferences.

We welcome enquiries from members of the Institute and also from others who may be interested in the work of the Committee.
