As one of the technical Divisions of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, and one of the Divisions that form IMMa (the International Mining & Minerals Association) we exist to support the Mining and related Industries world wide, by providing a focus for the exchange of knowledge on all aspects of applied earth science. The Division's activities encompass all professional, technical and educational aspects relating to applied earth science in the Mining Industry world wide.

The purpose of this Divisional website is to introduce the Board and its members and to explain our activities. We hope that you find this useful and would welcome any constructive comments.
