Siobhán Matthews
Siobhan MatthewsSiobhán is currently Technical Director of SCF Processing Ltd, Ireland. The company provides a materials processing consultancy service based on polymer processing techniques and supercritical fluid technology. Prior to joining SCF Processing, Siobhán worked at the Wolfson Centre for Materials Processing (Brunel University) where she held a number of positions including ISO 9001:2000 Quality Manager, Research Fellow for supercritical fluids, Senior Project Engineer and part-time lecturer.
Siobhán is a member of various professional societies including The London Materials Society, where she is at present Senior Vice Chair of the Society. She is also secretary of the Applied Polymer Science Committee of The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining. Siobhán is also affiliated to The American Ceramic Society and The Materials Research Society. Since returning to Ireland Siobhan has accepted an invitation to join the Irish South Polymer Group committee. This group represents the polymer industry in the Republic of Ireland.
