Shipping Humidity problems

29 Sep 2010, 13:55vyse
Would any of the members be able to shed some light on a problem we are having with humidity?

We are shipping small appliances from China and are there has been a problem with some glossy painted products where the paint has faint indelible “watermarks” etched into the surface, it appears that the protective plastic bag has caused the watermarks as the phenomena will appear randomly and in relation with the more heavy temperature and humidity transportation conditions.

Would a change from LDPE to HDPE help improve humidity control between the product and protective bag?

Thanks

Regards
