Schools Starpack - Helpful guidelines

Please ensure that all your students are fully briefed before entering.

  • A nominal fee of £30 per school covers up to 6 entries.  Schools wishing to submit more than 6 entries are required to pay £5 per additional entry and may not submit more than 6 entries in any one brief.
  • If a brief is done as a class project, then the teacher should select the BEST six designs for submission.
  • All briefs are for individual entry only and must include a full 3D model complete with graphics.
  • All briefs must supply no more than six single sided A3 sheets/boards showing how the idea developed.
  • We encourage the use of CAD.
  • The quality of presentation is judged taking into account the facilities assumed to be available to students and the initiative used where these are limited.
  • You will receive an automated email giving each entry a reference number.  It is crucial that the correct entry number is married with the correct student.
  • The entry number needs to be placed boldly on folders, and firmly, but more discreetly on the mock-up.
