Schools Starpack Conditions of Entry

  1. Students must be 18 years of age or under at the start of the academic year in September 2011.
  2. A nominal entry fee of £30 per school for a maximum of 6 entries per brief.  Schools wishing to submit more than 6 entries must pay an additional £5 per entry.
  3. The competition is open for individual entry only.
  4. The official online registration form must be completed by the teacher.
  5. Completion of the online entry form is Friday, 2 March 2012.  Teachers will receive an automated email giving details of delivery arrangements and entry numbers.
  6. Entries must be delivered the week commencing 19 March 2012.  Entries received after this will not be considered in the judging process.
  7. Work sheets and mock-ups must not show the entrant’s name or school, but must show the entrant’s entry number, on each piece of work. 
  8. Work received without the entry number will be disqualified.
  9. Results will be notified by post one week after the judging, during the week commencing 16 April, 2012.
  10. Entries requiring return must be collected in accordance with details given on the on-line entry form.
  11. IOM3 and the sponsors of the Student Starpack Design Award for Schools have unlimited rights to use all work submitted to promote the awards and sponsors' involvement in them. The sponsor owns the right to develop the solution with the entrant.
  12. While IOM3 will take every precaution, it cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to an entrant’s work. Adequate protection of entries is essential.
