Robert Siddall

Bob is a Mining Engineer who has spent the majority of his working life in British Coal, culminating in the posts of Director in charge of the South Yorkshire Group of deep mines and finally Director in charge of British Coal Opencast.

He is a Past President of the Midland Institute of Mining Engineers and a member of the Council.

He is also a Past President of the Institution of Mining Engineers and served on its Council, and the Council of the successor body the Institution of Mining and Metallurgy, for a number of years.

Bob is also chairman of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining Council Dinner Club.
