The Refractories and Industrial Ceramics (RIC) Committee will interpret the IOM3 and especially the Ceramics Society Board policy and inform members of the Institute and any other person having an interest in the sector, on all relevant matters.

They will act as a conduit for IOM3 members views and opinions to guide the Ceramic Society Board policy making decisions which affect members.

The RIC committee will organise technical meetings and symposia which do not have profit as a primary motive to disseminate information and to promote CPD at all levels.

They will provide a link between the Institute, other organisations and the public in all matters affecting the sector.

All Institute members are welcome to participate, within the rules, in the work of the committee. The committee members are encouraged to take an active part in the business of the group.
